SocialStats Terms of Service

MediaCrew — overarching terms

These terms apply across every MediaCrew product. Each product may add to them in the sections below, but cannot weaken them.

Acceptance

By using any MediaCrew product, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and to the product-specific terms that follow. You also acknowledge that you are above the age of 13, and that you are complying with the local laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. If you do not agree to these terms, or if your local laws and regulations prohibit you from using the product, do not use the product.

Usage

• You may use our software for any legal purpose, including commercial use.
• You may use our products as intended, without modification.

Restrictions

• Do not intentionally attempt to break, exploit, or compromise the functionality of any MediaCrew product. (See “Bug reporting & security research” below for the exception.)
• Do not redistribute or resell our software without explicit written permission.
• Do not use our products to harass, defraud, or violate the rights of others.

Bug reporting & security research

For the specific purpose of issue reporting or diagnosis, you are permitted to test the functionality of our software, within the confines of applicable local laws and regulations. If you wish to test an exploit or report a security concern, please contact security@mediacrew.dev so we can coordinate scoped access for testing and respond responsibly.

Support policy

• Support is provided on a best-effort basis.
• Deliberately damaging or misusing a product may result in loss of support.

Intellectual property

“MediaCrew”, “SocialStats”, “SubLink”, “Mirror”, the “M” brandmark, the MediaCrew wordmark, and the MediaCrew typeface are property of MediaCrew. Reproduction and unauthorized use is prohibited. For licensing questions, contact legal@mediacrew.dev.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of a MediaCrew product after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Warranty disclaimer

THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. MEDIACREW IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR MISUSE.

Liability

BY USING ANY MEDIACREW PRODUCT, YOU AGREE THAT THE DEVELOPERS CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM ITS USE.

SocialStats — terms of use

SocialStats-specific terms. The overarching terms above also apply.

Service description

SocialStats provides analytics dashboards for streamers and creators, drawing on data from the social and streaming platforms you connect to it via OAuth.

Third-party platforms & content

Any platform metrics, posts, comments, or other content displayed by SocialStats is the property of its original poster and/or the platform it was retrieved from. MediaCrew makes no claim to content (other than its own branding) present within the application.

Platform names referenced inside SocialStats — including but not limited to Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and any other supported platform — and their related intellectual property are the property of their respective owners, partners, parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates. MediaCrew makes no implied or otherwise claim to any of those properties. These names are used under fair use / fair dealing as integration references to existing third-party services.

Acceptable use

• You may not bulk-scrape, resell, or redistribute data accessed through SocialStats.
• You may not use SocialStats to harass, dox, or otherwise target any individual based on the data it surfaces.
• You must comply with the terms of each connected platform; SocialStats does not exempt you from them.

Service availability

SocialStats is provided on a best-effort basis with no contractual uptime guarantee. Platform API changes, outages, or revoked access on a connected platform may temporarily or permanently limit what we can show you.

Termination

You may delete your SocialStats account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for behavior that violates these terms or that endangers the service or other users. Retention behavior on termination is described in the SocialStats section of the Privacy Policy.
